The Polk County Crime Examiner brings you the arrest report for Polk County, including Cedartown, Rockmart and Aragon for Saturday, July 02, 2011. The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed according to the Polk County Jail dockets.

Brandon Kyrie Brown, age 27, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown police and charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug with in guard lines, possession of controlled substance and failure to maintain lane. A property bond in the amount of $26,100.00 has been set.
Francisco Martinez Chavez, age 20, of Rome, Ga., was arrested by Polk County police and charged with driving under the influence (DUI), minor in possession of alcohol, open container, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, improper lane usage, no drivers license and driving on wrong side of road. Chavez was released on July 03, 2011 after bonding out on a $4762.00 property bond.
Timothy Eugene Gates, age 29, of Aragon was arrested by Polk County Sheriff’s deputies and charged with felony theft by deception. Gates was released same day after bonding out on a $2600.00 property bond. See also (07/19/2010) (08/13/2009)
Fernando Martin Mejia, age 20, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown police and charged with possession of a false identification document, obstruction and criminal trespass. No bond has been set at this time.

Arnulfo Ramos Ramirez, age 28, of Cedartown was arrested by Cedartown police and charged with driving on a suspended license, failure to maintain lane and tail lights required. Ramirez was released same day after bonding out through the Cedartown Police Department. See also (03/02/2011)
Summer Treadwell, age 30, of Dallas, Ga. was arrested by Polk County Sheriff’s deputies and charged with deposit account fraud. Treadwell was released same day after paying $899.24.
