Manuel’s Great Hills in Austin’s Arboretum area offers indoor and shaded outdoor dining amidst Live Oaks, fountains and tropical gardens. Friendly service and an outstanding menu make Manuel’s an Austin favorite for local and out-of-town patrons. Manuel’s is a “must” for those who want to experience high quality interior and coastal Mexican food in a comfortable and contemporary atmosphere. Family owned and operated for over 23 years, Manuel’s has a long history of delighting even the most discriminating guests, from rock stars to U.S. Presidents.
We stopped in here on our way out of the Austin area and found the lunch menu to be reasonable and varied. We both enjoyed our meal and the ambiance. It was a beautiful day to sit outside and there was quite a big lunch crowd which included tourists, business people and families. You would not go wrong to try Manuel’s for good food and good service in pleasant surroundings.

A toasted poblano pepper stuffed with pork picadillo, baked & topped with our walnut cream brandy cause. Served on a bed of rice with black beans & fresh fruit.
Camarones a la Veracruzana Extra large Gulf shrimp sautéed and placed on a bed of rice with our salsa Veracruzana; served with a dinner salad.
Soft Tacos Two flour tortillas stuffed with your choice of pork, chicken, beef or mushrooms; served with rajas, rice & black beans.
Fajitas Marinated fresh chicken breast or beef sirloin; served sizzling with guacamole, Monterrey Jack cheese, fresh made salsa, black beans, sour cream & flour tortillas.
Tostadas A crisp four tortilla topped with black beans, Monterrey Jack cheese, lettuce, sour cream, tomato & your choice of pork, chicken, beef or guacamole; served rice.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere, friendly staff and dining out on the patio in a beautiful sunny day, we highly recommend their Jazz Sunday Brunch featuring Austin´s finest musicians
