The superstar singer Lady GaGa, in the past few years, has become one of the biggest, and most successful pop stars in the world. Her debut album, The Fame, and then the EP, The Fame Monster, quickly catapulted the singer to superstardom, garnering millions of fans along the way. Now that she has released, Born This Way, the fans of the star are excited over the new music that she has created, and the tour that will be launched beginning in 2012. According to a recent interview, Lady GaGa discusses Amy Winehouse.
As OK! Magazine reports, Lady GaGa said during her recent interview of Amy Winehouse: “I always felt kind of like an outsider — in pop music, and just from high school and I remember [Lady Starlight] looked over at me and said, ‘If she can do it, you can do it. So I always felt like Amy had opened a door for girls like me who didn’t fit that exact real pop mold…” GaGa added of the star: “She was really special. And she’s gonna be greatly missed.”
Fans have been devastated by the loss of Amy Winehouse, but they will keep her memory and legacy alive by listening to the music, which will surely inspire future generations.
