High pressure will begin to slide offshore this afternoon as an upper level disturbance approaches bringing a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm, especially west of Albany. By Monday, a series of cold fronts will approach with more showers and thunderstorms, some of which could become severe with strong winds and large hail. Another system will approach by mid-week with a chance of more widespread showers, before things clear out by the end of the week

TODAY – Sunny and warm with a high in the mid to upper 80’s and a light west wind. An isolated pop-up shower or thunderstorm cannot be ruled out by late afternoon.
TONIGHT – Partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Low in the mid 60’s with a light southerly wind.
MONDAY – Mostly sunny in the morning, with increasing clouds by afternoon and a chance of showers and thunderstorms, some of which could become severe with large hail and gusty winds. High in the mid 80’s with a west wind developing late at 5 to 10 mph.
TUESDAY – Sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. High in the mid 80’s with a west wind at 5 to 10 mph.
WEDNESDAY – Partly sunny and cooler with increasing clouds by afternoon and showers and thunderstorms becoming likely, especially south and west of Albany. High in the upper 70’s.
THURSDAY – Mostly sunny with a high in the lower 80’s.
FRIDAY – Mostly sunny with a high in the mid 80’s.
SATURDAY – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. High in the lower 80’s.
