An area of low pressure will move south of the region today and off the mid-Atlantic coast this evening, bringing a few scattered showers and thunderstorms south and west of Albany. High pressure will then build in to end the week with pleasant weather, before the warmth and humidity returns by the weekend.

TODAY – Partly sunny with a slight chance of an isolated shower or thunderstorm this afternoon, especially across southern and western parts of the region. High in the upper 70’s to near 80 degrees with a calm wind.
TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms early. Low in the lower 60’s with a light south wind.
THURSDAY – A few clouds and lingering showers in the morning will give way to partly sunny skies by afternoon. High in the lower 80’s with a light east wind.
FRIDAY – Mostly sunny and warmer with a high in the upper 80’s.
SATURDAY – Partly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. High in the low to mid 80’s.
SUNDAY – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. High in the lower 80’s.
MONDAY – Partly sunny with a high in the lower 80’s.
TUESDAY – Mostly sunny with a high in the lower 80’s.
