The Independent Gospel Artists Alliance Conference received many accolades for the conferences’ organization and artist-focused discussion topics. The conference, co-founded by Stellar Award winner Philip Carter and Stellar Award nominee Minister Earl Bynum is now in its second year of providing training, education and fellowship for independent gospel artists.
Here’s what attendees are saying:
“I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent at the conference. I’d call it a sure “must attend” conference for anyone looking to record and even for those who’ve already recorded independently and even new comers who may be fortunate (or not so fortunate) to be on a major label. A wealth of information flows freely and unhindered! I loved it! The fellowship was great too! While EVERY Gospel artist should surely have a spiritual covering, events like this reveal the true necessity for legal and knowledgeable coverings as well!!” ~Attendee Rev. Dr. Jerome A. Bell, Pastor, The Maryland Family Christian Center & CEO, The Bell Group & Ministries, representing Lady Tramaine Hawkins & others.
“The independent music conference is the best under $200.00 investment an indie artist could spend. Knowledge ain’t that cheap.”~ Presenter Ike Owens, The Adonai Music Group
“I barely have the words to tell you how excited I am after being so enriched and edified in this business called the gospel music industry. “Thank you” seems inadequate when I consider the knowledge I received relating to how to conduct and expand my business. The facilitators where knowledgeable and transparent in sharing their experiences and success strategies and the participants were equally as anxious to share ours and received such pertinent and on-time information. The networking was incredible. It took me an hour to input all of the contacts I gained! I will employ so much of what I learned as I proceed in scheduling my church tour. I look forward to the coming conferences and whatever other information the IGA disseminates for us to grow from.” ~Attendee Pamela Johnson, Atlanta, GA
Once again IGAA Conference provided information without gadgets or gimmicks, just armed with the truth backed by knowledge from the Gospel Industry’s Best!”~Gospel Blue MIC Achievement Awards Organizer Charles Clark, Publisher & Editor, Brothaonline.com
“The conference was so uplifting for real. It was really a breath of fresh air to hang around “family” that wasn’t trying to be uppity. Everyone could just come together & best of all, support each other & worship the Lord in the beauty of Holiness. My wife April & I loved it. You and your wife keep making a difference for the kingdom. Much love man & may God not only bless you but give you the desires of your heart. The “Quit Playin’ Church” Movement, & the new NC Connection has found a catalyst in this conference. You are definitely “stuck” with us and our ministry.” ~Attendee Todd Curry, Greensboro, NC
“The IGAAC is one of the best gospel music conferences I have the honor of attending because it is so informative & personal and every aspect of being an independent artist is covered extensively. My calendar is already cleared for next year’s conference.”~Presenter Thomas Rollins, New Day Distribution
“The Independent Gospel Conference is one of the most innovative and inspiring conferences of its kind. The way the panelist poured knowledge into the conference attendees was simply awesome. For those independent artists looking for a place where they can get REAL knowledge, I highly recommend The Independent Gospel Conference.” ~Presenter Roderick Jemison, Central South Distribution/Jemison & Associates
“Even though I was only able to attend the conference for one day, it was immensely helpful to me. I am now in fifth gear to learn all I can learn in order to be the most informed psalmist I can be. Thanks for all of the work your team put into such a well-organized event. I will definitely be there next year with a testimony of how I put what I learned to good use.” ~Attendee Trenice N. Richardson, Waldorf, MD
