For most of the season, Ashley Hebert has been saying little about the outcome of ABC’s The Bachelorette 2011. She has shared that she is happy with the way things turned out, but not much else. With the finale just a couple of days away, Hebert is starting to open up a bit more, and Scottsdalefans are thrilled with what she has to share. People magazine talked to Ashley after the taping of the “Men Tell All” show, which airs Sunday night, and she shared plenty that fans will embrace.
The Bachelorette2011 was a rough ride early on for both Ashley and long-standing fans of the show. Ashley shares, “There were certainly moments where I thought I’d made a mistake agreeing to be the Bachelorette and thought it wasn’t going to end well.” She knows now, however, that it was worth it. “I’m so happy, so in love. I found a great man.” Ashley adds, “It’s going strong – we’ve been hanging out and talking all the time. I hoped I would leave with this type of relationship.”
Ashley feels she is a much stronger person now and fans that worried this season would be a waste are relieved to know they have a happy ending to watch on Monday. As for the “Men Tell All” show, Hebert says, “This gave me a chance to talk to them and explain my choices. I don’t think anyone hates me. Many of them sound happy for me.”
Bentley Williams is not a part of the The Bachelorette “Men Tell All” special, and Ashley is relieved. “Part of me was happy because I am over him and don’t want to waste any more time or energy on Bentley.” She adds, “An apology would have been nice to hear although something tells me I wouldn’t have gotten one.”
Don’t miss a minute of the final two episodes of the season. The “Men Tell All” special begins at 8 p.m.on Sunday, July 31 while the finale of ABC’s The Bachelorette 2011 starts at 7 p.m.Monday, August 1. Stay tuned after the finale to see Ashley and her chosen guy together on the “After the Final Rose” special. It all happens on ABC, Channel 15 in the Scottsdalearea.
