Monday night lovebirds Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to chat about ABC’s The Bachelorette 2011. While part one of the interview focused on their plans and how they survived the time hidden away since taping, part two focused on Ashley’s sister Chrystie and where they are headed down the road.
Click on the video on the left-hand side of the page to watch Ashley and JP talk with Jimmy. Kimmel asked about the harsh reception JP got with Ashley’s sister Chrystie Corns. Rosenbaum said that Chrystie has been a completely different person since they returned from Fiji, and he really doesn’t even recognize the Chrystie that he first met in Fiji.
Jimmy jokes that Chrystie isn’t allowed to be the maid of honor. Kimmel also jokes that perhaps Chrystie had a thing for JP, or perhaps Chrystie and Ben could become a couple. While Jimmy jokes that a lot of the franchise couples go south, Ashley assures him that they aren’t going anywhere. Next Jimmy asks if they might consider Dancing With the Stars or some of the other possibilities, and Ashley says she is emotionally drained and she really just wants to be in New York with JP and go out for coffee in the mornings.
The pair seems genuinely happy, and Jimmy tells them, “I hope it works out, it almost never does, but you know what, who’s to say it won’t?” Ashley chastises him, and he jokes that he’s been through this many times and they have to cut him some slack. Fans are hoping this is the pair that joins the likes of Trista and Ryan Sutter with a wedding and Bachelorette babies.
While The Bachelorette is now wrapped up for the season, next Monday viewers can tune in to Bachelor Pad 2. Ames, William and Blake from Ashley’s season will be on the show, along with many of the most dramatic, hot-headed personalities from seasons past. Tune in Monday night, August 8 to see how it all begins. ABC’s Bachelor Pad 2 airs on Channel 15 in the Scottsdale area.
