While guests walk around Epcot at Walt Disney World and see all the different pavilions of Future World and enjoy the countries of World Showcase; they may never experience the true beauty if they don’t allow themselves to. One of the greatest times to be at Epcot is at night when everything is lit up, the crowds are starting trickle out, and the park starts to quiet down. That’s what I’m here to show you in pictures.
It is an absolute wonder to traverse Epcot and look at the obvious sights that are wonderous and not seen anywhere else in the world. Then there are those places that people take for granted or don’t even know about at Epcot so they’ll end up missing them.
Hence what I showed you with the the “Future World of Epcot.”
Now though it is time to head to the back of Epcot where the countries of World Showcase sit around the appropriately named World Showcase Lagoon. They are always beautiful and awesome to experience at any time of day or night as they provide great culture and educational aspects that are hard for so many families and travelers to experience elsewhere.
It isn’t always easy to travel the globe you know.
My favorite time though to visit the countries is late at night on a date when Epcot has Evening Extra Magic Hours (EMH) and is open late into the morning hours of the next day. That is when the crowd starts to sift out and the chatter isn’t as loud. It is when the fantastic music for each country can be heard loud and clear. This is the time when the World Showcase is lit up masterfully and able to be viewed in their gorgeous and mostly uniterrupted glory.
See Epcot’s World Showcase at night when it is lit up and almost empty
Can’t you just see what you may be missing by either rushing through the countries or leaving too early in the day before they can be experience in their true splendor. Sure it may be hard for families to stay really late at night, but try sometime…maybe even one night…to see what World Showcase is like late on an EMH night at Epcot really is like.
Walt Disney World has so much to offer that everyone knows about and is right out in the open and expected for all to see and enjoy. It is the hidden gems that everyone misses out on and it takes away from their Disney trips without them even realizing it.
Believe it or not, if you’ve never experience World Showcase at night then you’re not getting your full money’s worth for that Park Hopper your purchased.
