Tip #10 – Summertime Fun
Now, this just may be the easiest blog to write, as there really is endless opportunities in the mountain towns of Summit County. We have the standard mountain activities like hiking, biking and walking, but don’t forget about the lake and rivers, as they can be a nice, cool spot on a hot day.
If you’re looking for the mandatory tourist t-shirt to pick up for friends and family, just wander among the many shops that are downtown and pick one out! If you forgot your windbreaker or even a hat, there are some great mountain styles that can only be found in our specialty shops.
You can rent cruiser bikes and do a town tour, or go full-suspension and a full face helmet to be extra safe while you get that helmet cam video to post all over your Facebook and Twitter account.
