Yesterday marked the beginning of the Fall River County Fair for the 100th time! The small town of Edgemont has been celebrating the rural tradition of a county fair for a century and this year brings more than ever before.
A big part of the fair is the involvement of the 4-H clubs and the kids showcasing projects they’ve been working on throughout the year. Competitions span from livestock shows to judging exhibIts.
Thursday night features a performance by the country music group Restless Heart at 8p.m. Tickets for the show are only $8!! With big concerts coming up with the Ralley you won’t be able to beat that price this month for a live show!
This fair is a week long event that has unique exhibits each day. For the full week schedule see the Rapid City Journal story.
If you’re looking for a different experience head down to Edgemont this week and take advantage of the historical event of the Fall River County Fair!!
