One of the joys in working on a show like “True Blood” is that thanks to there only being twelve episodes in a season, you really only get the opportunity to do some other work in addition to playing a role on the HBO show.
With that in mind, we bring you the following news. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Deborah Ann Woll (better known as Jessica on the show) has signed on to play a new role in the project “He Loves Me” — one that is set to be directed by the “Little Miss Sunshine” directing team of Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris. The project also includes the likes of Paul Dano and Annette Bening.
On “True Blood,” Woll is known for playing “baby vamp” Jessica, who is one of the original characters not featured in the Charlaine Harris books. This season, she has caused some trouble for her relationship with Hoyt after biting another man inside of Fangtasia.
Are you happy to see Woll getting more work?
