Being at Comic-Con is certainly a unique experience — and the very first time he was there, “True Blood” actor Ryan Kwanten was more than interested in taking advantage.
Speaking in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Kwanten describes how in his very first experience at the convention three years ago, he wanted to actually go out and have fun — but this ended up causing a problem for the people trying to run the convention:
“I was supposed to be tailing security with the True Blood cast and I don’t know how, but I lost track of him and I wandered out onto the convention floor by myself. I had more fun wandering around and seeing all the things I could possibly buy than being upstairs in the green room waiting to go out. They had to send out a search party to find me because I wasn’t exactly willing to go back on my own; I was having too much fun out there. It was really a visceral out-of-body experience.”
Kwanten will once again be a part of the massive show panel on July 22, and he also gave some worthy advice to anyone considering coming to the event — don’t ask for spoilers, since it really just ends up being a waste of everyone’s time.
If you could talk to one cast member at Comic-Con, do you have any idea who it would be?
