So far, Comic Con has had a wealth of information for gamers, and it just keeps coming! We may not exactly have any huge conventions like Comic Con or E3 around here in Grand Rapids, but maybe sharing some of these assets that Ubisoft released for Rayman Origins will help ease the pain.
As you probably know, Rayman Origins is taking the series back to its 2D sidescrolling roots, while adding some awesome updates like 4-player simultaneous co-op and beautiful HD graphics. The story serves as something of a prequel to the original Rayman, shedding some new light on the characters and events of games you’ve already played. And what might be considered best of all to old school Rayman fans is the fact that the ‘Raving Rabbids’ characters that have dominated the Rayman scene on Wii are nowhere to be found.
Rayman Origins is shooting for a release this Holiday season on PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii, so look forward to hitting your local retailer towards the end of the year.
