President Barack Obama responded to the passage of the ‘Compromise’ Debt Ceiling legislation in Washington, D.C. shortly after the U.S. Senate passed the measure early Monday afternoon. Being just hours before the midnight deadline of the nation defaulting for the first time in history, the president signed the legislation and quickly addressed the nation.
Many pundits throughout the media criticized Obama’s reaction for being a ‘campaign speech.’
