When you look back at “Chuck” over the first four seasons, we have seen an event dominate half of the season finales — weddings. Considering that there are still some single characters out there (Casey) and some who already have girlfriends (Morgan with Alex), there is still a question as to whether or not we could see anyone else tie the knot over the show’s final 13 episodes set to debut this October.
So what can we expect on thsi subject? Speaking to E! News, series star Zachary Levi proclaimed that really, the upcoming season is not going to have anything to do with either marriage or (thankfully) pregnancy:
“No more weddings this season with any of the other characters. And no more babies. This season will be like the others, with that same kind of tone and fun uniqueness that Chuck has always had. Plenty of comedy, drama, hijinx, all that jazz!”
The story is expected to revolve around the sort of government conspiracy that was suggested in the finale, but Chuck and Sarah will be tackling missions as an independent outlet for the first time rather than the CIA.
Do you think staying away from weddings and children is the right move for the show to make?
