It was recommended by a writer from the Food Bloggers Network to try out Café Collage. It turned out to be a great choice. Café Collage is a peaceful coffee house with brightly colored walls; collages of paintings and photos; and symphony playing in the background. There isn’t a big crowd of people that drop in to have noisy conversations, which is good because it allows for persons to have a moment for themselves or get some work needed to be done. Sometimes it can be a little too peaceful which is enough to make you want to go to sleep.
Café Collage serves good food that has a good consistency of grains and vegetables. They have food options for vegans. The Warhol is a sandwich wrap filled with cooked lentils, avocado and sprouts. Their flaxseed smoothies are delicious and nourishing. The vegan smoothie is made of flaxseed, soy, maple syrup, and barley. The house special, which is a slightly lighter version of the vegan smoothie, has barley added. Both flax and barley are a good source of fiber and have great health benefits.
Café Collage is a personal retreat after a hard day’s work. Rather than have happy hour at a bar or restaurant, have a healthy hour with a smoothie and sandwich.
